The steps. At your pace.

Before starting: access to Booking & Services, the right teammate and known working hours. Decide whether requests need business approval or automatic confirmation.

  1. From your first service to a confirmed booking

A booking page lets customers choose a service and time that fit your business settings. This lesson uses a 30-minute consultation with Dana on Monday, 12 October 2026, from 10:00 to 10:30. Follow a request awaiting review through to a booking confirmed by the business. Lesson records are separate from your customers.

  2. Open Booking & Services

Start with the service your customers will book. Next, set business hours, staff hours and the booking page. Available pages and actions depend on your permissions and business capabilities.

  3. Create a clear service

Our example service is Consultation. Use a short description so customers know what to expect. Check that the service is active. You will select it for the booking page later; creating a service does not add it to every page.

  4. Set duration and price

Service duration determines how much time the booking needs. Set the price and currency for your service; a displayed price does not establish payment. If a staff member has a different service duration, check that too. This example uses 30 minutes and a price of 0.

  5. Save and check the service

Reopen the service if you need to inspect its full settings. Check that the correct service was saved, that it is active and that its duration is 30 minutes. Later, select this same service for the page and check its customer view.

  6. Set when the business is open

Business hours should match when you actually work. For a new business, set and save them explicitly rather than assuming hours already exist. Our example opens Monday from 09:00 to 13:00 in the Jerusalem time zone. Also check buffers between appointments and advance-booking rules.

  7. Check staff hours too

Review business hours and the staff member’s hours together. A staff member can use business hours or have custom hours. Dana already exists in our example team; her required hours are set explicitly. Selecting Dana for a page does not create her working hours.

  8. Block time customers cannot book

A block marks time unavailable for bookings, such as a break or an absence. Check its staff member, date and end time. In our example, 10:00–10:30 still fits a consultation, while a time overlapping the block should not be offered.

  9. Decide how requests are accepted

Automatic confirmation accepts eligible bookings without manual review; when it is off, new requests await business approval. Guest booking determines whether new customers can book. If verification codes are enabled, customers must verify their phone or email before a request is accepted. These are separate choices. Set them for your business.

  10. Create a booking page

A page can focus on a particular audience or service. Choose which services and staff it displays. This example creates a page for one consultation service with Dana, rather than showing every business service.

  11. Give the page a title

Our example title is Book a consultation. Use the description to explain the 30-minute meeting and that requests need business approval. Save a new page before publishing. When editing an existing page, check its automatic-save indicator and retry if saving fails.

  12. Choose what customers can book

Check that you selected the correct active service. These selections determine what the page offers customers. If a service is missing in the customer view, check its selection on the page and its active state before sharing the link.

  13. Choose who provides the service

Customers see providers allowed by the page and booking settings. This lesson selects Dana explicitly. Check that the staff member is active, can provide the service and is available during the configured hours. If the right teammate does not exist yet, set them up in user management before continuing.

  14. Review scheduling rules

The advance-booking window limits how far ahead customers can book. Minimum notice prevents bookings too close to the current time. Check daily limits and business hours too, so the settings do not hide every option. If you require acceptance of terms or a cancellation policy, check that customers see them before submitting.

  15. Publish when ready

Publishing makes the booking page available through its link. Open and check that link before sharing it with customers. An unpublished page is unavailable for public booking. The published state in this lesson belongs only to an isolated demonstration page; no active business page is published here.

  16. Open the customer view

Switch to the customer view and check the correct page. If a phone lookup appears, a new customer can choose “Skip — I'm a new customer” when the page offers it. Consultation should show the duration and price you set. Select it and continue to the date. If the page is unavailable, check its published state and whether online booking is enabled for the business.

  17. Choose the day

Choose a date within the allowed booking window. Closed days and dates outside business rules may not be selectable. This example’s day and hours use the Jerusalem time zone.

  18. Choose who takes the booking

The provider affects which times can be booked. This example chooses Dana after the service and date. The selection flow may differ when the business uses any available provider or offers multiple services. Follow the options shown on your page.

  19. Choose an available time

An eligible time must fit the entire service duration, hours and availability. Our example blocks 10:30–11:00. If no times are available, check another date, the service, provider, hours and blocks. If the time becomes unavailable before submission, return to the times and choose an available option; the first selection is not guaranteed.

  20. Enter contact details

Provide details the business can use to handle the request. Required fields depend on the settings. If verification codes are required, receive a code through an available channel and complete verification before submitting. Verification is off in this lesson, and no phone or email message is sent.

  21. Review before submitting

Review your selections and contact details before pressing the submission button. Accept terms or a policy if the page requires them. This example has a price of 0 and no deposit. If your business requires a deposit, follow its instructions and check payment separately; a confirmed booking alone does not establish payment.

  22. Request received. Awaiting approval.

With automatic confirmation off, the example request is saved awaiting approval. It is not yet a booking confirmed by the business. Its time is held during review to prevent overlapping bookings. Do not resubmit just because approval is not immediate; first check that the request was received.

  23. Review the request in the system

Check the correct request: Consultation, Dana, Monday, 10:00–10:30. From Awaiting approval, open the status picker and choose Confirmed when the details are correct. This action requires the appropriate permission. If something needs changing, review the available options before confirming.

  24. Check the confirmed booking

Check that the correct booking shows Confirmed and retains the correct service, provider and time. Confirmation messages, reminders, calendar sync and payment depend on settings and connections; check each separately if used. This lesson checks isolated records, with no customer message, charge or external calendar change.

Check the service, availability and saved booking. With manual approval, a received request still needs the business to approve it and its status to show Confirmed.

No times available? Check business hours, staff hours, blocks and advance-booking rules. If a time becomes unavailable before submission, return and choose an available time.

What to check.

Content checked against Lynxbe screens and source behavior on 11 October 2026. Automatic confirmation is off in this example: the request awaits review before the business approves it.
