Sign In to Manage Your Data

To delete your account, export your data, or manage your privacy settings, you need to sign in to your Lynxbe Platform account. All privacy actions are available directly within the app.

At Lynxbe, we believe you should be in full control of your personal data. This page explains how you can manage, modify, export, and permanently delete your data from the Lynxbe Platform app. These rights are available to all users regardless of location.

1. Your Privacy Choices

As a Lynxbe Platform user, you have the following rights over your data:

Delete Your Data

Permanently delete your account and all associated data. After a 90-day grace period, your data is irreversibly erased from all our systems.

Export Your Data

Download a complete copy of all data we hold about you, including messages sent, conversations assigned, and contacts created.

Modify Your Data

Update or correct your personal information such as name, email address, phone number, and profile details directly in the app.

Control how your data is used, including opting out of analytics, notifications, and non-essential data processing.

2. Delete Your Account & Data

You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data directly from within the app. Here's how:

Option A: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

Open the Lynxbe Platform App

Log into your account on the Lynxbe Platform app (iOS, Android, or web).

Go to Settings

Navigate to Settings from the sidebar menu (gear icon).

Find Security & Compliance

Scroll down to the Security & Compliance section.

Tap "Delete My Account"

Select Delete My Account to begin the deletion process. You will be guided through a confirmation flow that requires typing "DELETE" to confirm.

Confirmation & Grace Period

After confirmation, your deletion request enters a 90-day grace period. During this time, you can cancel the request at any time. After 90 days, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

Important: Team Members

If you are a team member (not the business owner), your deletion request will be sent to the business owner for approval. Once approved, the 90-day grace period begins. You will be notified via email and in-app notification of the approval decision.

Option B: Email Request

If you are unable to access the app, you can request data deletion by sending an email to privacy@lynxbe.co.il with the following information:

  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Your registered email address
  • Your full name as it appears on your account
  • Your business/organisation name (if applicable)

We will verify your identity and process the request within 5 business days. The same 90-day grace period applies.

What Gets Deleted

When your account deletion is executed, the following data is permanently removed:

Account credentials Login email, password hash, and authentication tokens are permanently deleted
Personal information Name, phone number, profile picture, and contact details are removed
Messages & conversations Your sent messages are anonymised; conversations you handled are unassigned
Push notification tokens All device tokens and notification preferences are deleted
Activity & audit logs Your actions in the system are anonymised (replaced with "Deleted User")
Team memberships You are removed from all teams and roles
Company Owners

If you are the business owner, you also have the option to delete your entire company's data. This will anonymise all user accounts, remove all conversations, cancel all scheduled messages, deactivate all automations, and mark the business as deleted. This action affects all team members in your organisation. Use this option only if you intend to permanently close your business on the Lynxbe Platform.

3. Export Your Data

Before requesting deletion, we recommend exporting a copy of your data. You can do this directly from the app:

  1. Go to Settings → Security & Compliance → Delete My Account
  2. Click "Export My Data" at the top of the page
  3. A summary will be generated showing:
    • Total messages you sent
    • Conversations assigned to you
    • Contacts you created

You can also request a full data export by emailing privacy@lynxbe.co.il. We will provide your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) within 30 days, in compliance with GDPR Article 20 (Right to Data Portability).

4. Modify Your Personal Data

You can update your personal information at any time within the app:

  • Profile information (name, avatar): Go to Settings → My Profile
  • Email address: Contact your business administrator or email privacy@lynxbe.co.il
  • Phone number: Update in your profile settings
  • Password: Go to Settings → Security & Compliance → Change Password
  • Notification preferences: Go to Settings → Notifications

If you need to correct data that you cannot modify yourself, contact us at privacy@lynxbe.co.il and we will update it within 5 business days.

5. Opt Out of Data Collection

You can control how your data is collected and used:

Email communications Unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or manage in Settings → Notifications
No Advertising or Tracking

Lynxbe does not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not share your data with data brokers. We do not track you across other apps or websites. Your data is used solely to provide the Lynxbe Platform service to you and your organisation.

6. Data We Collect & Data We Don't

For full details on all data types collected, see our App Privacy Policy. Below is a detailed breakdown of every data category, what we collect, and why.

  • Name — Your full name as entered during registration
  • Email Address — Used for login, account recovery, and notifications
  • Phone Number — Optional; used for SMS notifications and WhatsApp integration

Purpose: Account creation, authentication, password recovery, and communication delivery. Linked to your identity.

  • User ID — Unique identifier assigned to your account
  • Device ID — Used solely for push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging / APNs token)

Purpose: Authentication, session management, and delivering push notifications to your device. Not used for tracking.

  • Messages — Messages you send through WhatsApp Business, SMS, and other channels
  • Media Files — Images, documents, and audio files shared in conversations
  • Customer Records — Contacts and customer data you create and manage in the CRM
  • Templates — Message templates you create for WhatsApp and other channels

Purpose: Core platform functionality — enabling business communication, customer relationship management, and message delivery. This is the primary service data.

Usage Data

  • Feature usage — Which features you access and how often (e.g., conversations opened, templates created)
  • App interactions — Page views and navigation patterns within the app

Purpose: Analytics and product improvement. Data is aggregated and anonymised. Not linked to your identity and not shared with third parties.

  • Crash data — Error reports when the app crashes or encounters an issue
  • Performance metrics — App load times, response times, and general performance data

Purpose: App stability, bug fixes, and performance improvements. Not linked to your identity.

Lynxbe is committed to minimal data collection. We never collect the following data types:

Device Contacts

Not Collected

We never access or upload your phone's contact list. Customer contacts in the CRM are entered manually by users.

No Advertising, No Tracking, No Data Sales

Lynxbe does not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not share your data with data brokers or ad networks. We do not track you across other apps or websites. Your data is used solely to provide the Lynxbe Platform service to you and your organisation.

7. 90-Day Grace Period

After your deletion request is approved, a 90-day grace period begins. During this period:

  • Your account remains active but marked for deletion
  • You can cancel the deletion at any time from the app or by emailing us
  • A progress bar in the app shows how many days remain
  • You will receive a reminder 7 days before final deletion

After the 90-day grace period expires, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. This cannot be undone.

Cancel Anytime

Changed your mind? You can cancel your deletion request at any time during the 90-day grace period. Go to Settings → Security & Compliance → Delete My Account and click "Cancel Deletion Request". Your account will be fully restored immediately.

8. Meta / Facebook Data Deletion

If you connected your account through Facebook or Meta services, you can request deletion of your data associated with our Facebook integration:

  • Via Facebook: Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → Find Lynxbe → Remove. This triggers an automatic data deletion callback.
  • Via our app: Use the in-app account deletion feature described above.
  • Via email: Contact privacy@lynxbe.co.il

When Facebook sends us a data deletion callback, we process it within 24 hours and provide a confirmation code that you can use to check the status of your request.
