What Lynxbe's sensing system does
The sensing system divides a space into zones; each zone holds Wi-Fi sensors (a router, access point or external device) that report motion and presence. Every zone can have a no-motion timeout that marks it empty, and events like motion, zone entry, a detected anomaly or a no-motion timeout can trigger a policy you define. The sensors themselves need supported hardware and an agent installed on site (router-bridge, Raspberry Pi or ESP32) - this is not only a toggle in the app.
What the sensing system actually does
Zones with Wi-Fi sensors
Define a zone, assign it one or more of the sensors registered for your business (Wi-Fi router, access point or external device), and set a no-motion timeout after which it is marked empty.
Real-time presence and motion tracking
Every motion event, zone entry or end of presence is recorded and sent in real time, so you can see occupancy per zone and build analytics and a room map on top of it.
Alert policies per event
Build a policy linking an event - motion, zone entry, zone emptied, a detected anomaly, or a no-motion timeout - to an action, and turn it on or off at any time.
Anomalies with severity and acknowledgement
A detected anomaly gets a severity level from low to critical, and you can acknowledge that you have seen it or close it as resolved.
A hardware agent for on-site installation
The platform distributes an installation agent for three hardware types - router-bridge, raspi-agent and esp32-firmware - with a short-lived pairing token for first connection, and tracks each installed agent's version and status.
Live vitals monitoring on a compatible sensor
On a compatible RuView sensor the system can ingest heart rate, breathing rate and presence in real time, and a high or critical reading on these automatically opens as an anomaly in the system.
