What the module does

Bitcoin as a payment method, inside your business system

The same checkout, the same payment request and the same document. Only the payment method is new.

Pay a request in bitcoin

Customers pay a payment request in bitcoin, straight into the business wallet. The same checkout serves store orders, booking deposits and sale pages.

We never hold the money

Lynxbe never holds the money and cannot sign a send from the wallet. The server only gets the wallet's public key, which can watch but never spend.

Recorded once, with your document

A settled payment is recorded once, with the business's own document. The request balance updates and the document is issued in the business's name.

Exceptions wait for review

Partial, late or over payments wait for the business's review, never straight to the books. In the review queue you accept the payment or send it back.

Wallet, balance and history

The wallet balance in bitcoin and shekels, a receive address and the payment history, with each payment linked to its payment request.

Export for your accountant

A CSV file for the period you choose: one row per receipt and per refund, with the amount in shekels and bitcoin and the rate on the day it was received.

How it works

Four steps from wallet to payment

1

Connect a wallet

Paste the public key of the business's bitcoin wallet and check that 3 addresses match what the wallet shows. No wallet yet? Open a new one from Lynxbe, on the owner's own device.

2

The customer pays

On a payment request, a store order or a deposit, the customer picks bitcoin, scans a QR code and pays from their own wallet.

3

Money in the business wallet

The bitcoin goes straight into the business wallet. Lynxbe never holds it, at any step.

4

Recorded with the document

Once the payment is confirmed, it is recorded once and the business's own document is issued.

Trust and control

The money stays with you, and every payment is checked

Non-custodial
Lynxbe holds no money and signs no send
Private keys refused
A private key pasted by mistake is refused and never stored
Review before booking
Partial, late or over waits for your decision
Refund by link
The customer gives an address, the business sends from its wallet
Name and email on every payment
The business document carries the customer's name
A 15-minute window
The bitcoin amount is set by the rate and held for payment
Who it is for

For businesses whose customers want to pay in bitcoin

Online stores

Bitcoin as one more option in the cart, next to cash, card and Bit.

Businesses that take deposits

A booking deposit can be paid in bitcoin, on the same checkout page.

Businesses that send payment requests

Send a payment request in shekels, and the customer chooses to pay its value in bitcoin.

Businesses that want to keep bitcoin

The money stays in the business wallet, and you decide if and when to convert it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this module

Which wallet do I need?+
A bitcoin wallet that gives a public key (xpub, ypub or zpub), such as Sparrow, Electrum, BlueWallet or a hardware wallet. An exchange account only gives a deposit address, so it cannot be connected. No wallet yet? You can open a new one from Lynxbe: the 12 recovery words are created on your device and never reach the server.
What does each payment cost?+
Lynxbe takes no fee per payment. The bitcoin network charges a network fee on every transfer: the customer pays it from their wallet when paying, and the business pays it when sending from its own wallet.
How much does the module cost?+
Lynxbe Crypto is an add-on to a plan that includes Lynxbe Pay, and it is included in the All Inclusive, Pro, Enterprise and Restaurant plans. The price is on the Lynxbe pricing page.
How does it work for tax and bookkeeping?+
The payment is recorded in shekels, and the business document is issued as with any other payment. The accountant export lists, for each receipt, the amount in shekels and bitcoin and the rate on the day it was received. This is not tax advice: settle the accounting treatment with your accountant.
What if the customer pays less, more or late?+
The payment is not recorded on its own. It goes to the business's review queue, where you accept it or send it back. On an over payment, the request amount is recorded and the difference is marked for refund.
How do I refund a customer?+
Open a refund on a settled payment, and the customer gets a link valid for two weeks. They give a bitcoin address, the bitcoin amount is set by the rate at that moment, and the business sends from its own wallet and records the transaction ID. One refund and one credit note are recorded.
Which coins and networks are supported?+
Bitcoin only, on the main bitcoin network (on-chain). Payment requests are in shekels, and the customer pays their value in bitcoin at the current rate. There is no Lightning and no other coin.
Is the payment anonymous?+
No. The business document carries the customer's name, so every bitcoin payment needs a name and an email.
